Bio
Tim was born in Hoboken, NJ and raised in Monmouth County. His experiences in school always led him to believe in the power of learning by doing. This intrinsic desire to learn how things work led Tim to a bachelor's degree in Physics and Classical Civilizations from Binghamton University in upstate NY. Following graduation, Tim has spent time as a science educator in middle school and high school classrooms in various areas of the city, all of which contain a high number of ELLs and/or students with special needs. As of 2015, Tim is a Math for America Early Career Fellow in his first year of his fellowship. He also attends Relay Graduate School of Education in pursuit of a Master of Arts in Teaching. He thoroughly enjoys reading fiction and non-fiction titles, cooking, and watching movies (and eating copious amounts of snack food) with his fiancee.
